My pressure indicator is reading low and I suspect foreign objects (leaves) are in my impeller. Thank you for posting this. I now feel like I can at lease look inside and check it out myself. You may have saved me a lot of money. Thank you from sunny California! sixmotor1 on February 9, 2011 at 9:00 pm Success. My impeller was clogged with leaves. Everything is working, pressure is back up. Thanks again for the video! angelaryan2 on August 21, 2011 at 7:40 pm Thank you for posting this! I’ve torn down and reassembled my new pump 6 times in the past 3 days, each time screaming in frustration as water poured out of the bottom. After watching this, I now realize that I’ve been installing the shaft seal backwards. All of the diagrams and exploded views that I’ve found do not clarify which way to insert this, and the one on my old pump fell off before I could see it’s orientation. On my way out to try again…the right way! Other videos seem to show how fast the work can be done. Omar R on April 27, 2013 at 4:55 pm don’t know if my pump needs fixing???
